Why LetterBench exists
AI cover letter tools are everywhere. Almost nobody tests them honestly. We do.
What we are
LetterBench is an independent review site for AI cover letter generators. We sign up, run each tool against real job descriptions, and publish what actually happens — the good, the bad, and the "this tool is just a wrapper around a chatbot."
We are not affiliated with any tool vendor, and we never review products made by our own team. That rule keeps the site honest and simple.
What we do
- Test tools hands-on and publish the real output in each review.
- Score every tool on the same four dimensions, with public weights.
- Rank tools based only on test results, never on who pays us.
- Update reviews when tools change, with the date of each re-test.
How this site is funded
